Hoeft, Audrey (Marriage - 24 July
1953)
St. Peter’s Lutheran parsonage at
Dorchester, was the setting at 2:00 o’clock Friday afternoon
for the marriage of Miss Audrey Hoeft, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Otto Hoeft, Abbotsford, and Pvt. Arnold Gadke, Ft. Lemis,
Washington, son of Mrs. Lizzie Gadke, Route 4, Marshfield.
Officiating at the service was the Rev. F. H. Sprengler.
For her wedding, the bride donned a gray
checked suit with black and white accessories, accented by a pink
and white carnation corsage.
Mrs. Verland Hanson, Milwaukee, a sister
of the bride, who served as matron of honor, had a beige suit and a
corsage of white carnations.
The bridesmaid, Miss Dorothy Pinter,
niece of the groom, wore a pink check suit with a white carnation
corsage.
Verland Hanson, Milwaukee, was best man,
and Kenneth Gadke, a brother of the groom, was groomsman.
A supper was served at the Country Ballroom for members of the immediate family.
